Refund Policy

Clear, transparent guidelines regarding Article Processing Charges (APCs), editorial service fees, and payment conditions for scientific publications.

Post-Publication Refund Policy

No refund will be given or entertained once the payment has been completed and the article has been published in any Feliz Publishers journal.

By completing the payment for Article Processing Charges (APCs), authors, institutions, and funding sponsors explicitly acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. Nature of Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Feliz Publishers operates on an Open Access publishing model. Unlike traditional subscription journals, we do not charge subscription fees or paywalls to readers, libraries, or academic institutions worldwide.

Article Processing Charges (APCs) are levied solely to cover the immediate operational and technical costs incurred during the publication cycle, including:

  • Double-blind peer review coordination, editorial screening, and plagiarism verification.
  • Professional scientific copyediting, XML tagging, and high-standard typesetting.
  • Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration with Crossref.
  • Global open access hosting under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
  • Long-term digital archiving in scientific repositories to preserve citation longevity.

2. Conditions for Non-Refundability

Publication services are delivered upon the official public release of the article online. Therefore:

  • Published Articles: Once an accepted manuscript is posted online in early view, in-press, or regular issue, no refund can be granted under any circumstance.
  • Author Request for Retraction: If an author voluntarily requests article retraction or correction post-publication, APC fees will not be returned.
  • Ethical Violations: In cases where an article is subsequently retracted or sanctioned due to scientific misconduct, fabrication of data, or undisclosed copyright infringements, no refund will be issued.

3. Erroneous & Duplicate Transactions

In the exceptional circumstance that an author, co-author, or institution is accidentally charged twice for the same manuscript submission due to a payment gateway timeout or bank glitch:

  • The author must notify the Editorial Accounts team within 14 calendar days of the transaction.
  • Provide proof of both transactions (transaction ID, payment receipt, and bank statement extract).
  • Upon confirmation of the duplicate payment, the excess amount will be refunded directly to the original payment source within 7–10 business days.
