Nutrient Composition And Evaluation Of Modular Aeroponics Components For Small Scale Seed Yam Production

Onyemaechi Maxwell Chinedu

Abstract: Yam stores relatively longer than most root crops and this attribute have gained it recognition as a food security crop in Nigeria. More effort has been put into its research and production as evident by numerous government interventions over the years. However, inadequate access and high cost of seed yams have prevented farmers from intensive sustainable production. New technologies to increase and make available quality seed yams to farmers can boost yam production, increase food security and improve farmers livelihoods. In this regard, Nutrient composition and evaluation of modular aeroponics components system for small scale seed yam production was carried out. The objective is to design to formulate accurate nutrient solution and evaluate the components of the modular aeroponics system for the production of seed yam also to evaluate the feasibility of generating seed yams from modular aeroponics system. Results of the technical evaluation of these system showed that all the installed components worked perfectly according to their specifications. The results of directly planted vines were impressive as plants and vines suspended in air continued growing normally with the development of new roots and shoots. Within 10 days, more than 50% of the vines produced roots and in week 3 after planting, 85– 100% of the direct vine cuttings produced roots on the aeroponics system. Agronomic evaluation of vines planted on the modular aeroponics system showed a progressive growth in all the parameters measured indicating the functionality of the system. The study demonstrates the potentials of the system in the production of clean materials for small medium scale seed yam production venture.

BIO & NANO Aspects of Resuscitation

Stanislav Ordin

Abstract: The Conway-von Neumann cellular mechanism, which allowed us to describe the origin and fractal development of LIFE, and the Feynman mechanism of robot miniaturization, which is followed by modern NANO-technology, have diametrically opposed developmental directions. These linear approximations, intersecting at the NANO level, complement and expand the concepts of permitted states of materials, including biological ones. But most importantly, they demonstrate the permissible limits of miniaturization of artificial, including medical, interventions in the restoration of nano-objects and human resuscitation

A modern picture of the world for doctors, biochemists and biologists

Sapogin L. G

Abstract: This article describes a model of Unitary Quantum Field Theory in which a particle is represented as a wave packet. The frequency dispersion equation is chosen such that the packet periodically appears and disappears without changing shape. The envelope of the process is identified with the ordinary wave function. The equation of such a field is nonlinear, and the mass depends on velocity in the same way as under relativistic invariance, but all the schizophrenia with time dilation and line contraction disappears. Under ordinary transformations, they reduce to the Dirac, Schrödinger, and Hamilton-Jacobi equations. A number of new experimental effects are predicted for both high and low energies. The fine structure constant (1/137) was calculated in 1988, and the masses of numerous (33) elementary particles, starting with the electron, were estimated in 2007 with an accuracy of at least 1%. Two pentaquarks, the theta baryon, the Higgs boson, and the 28 GeV particle were discovered 11 years later, all calculated with high precision. The overall picture of the world is based on a unified unitary field. These equations allow for the origin of the Universe without a Big Bang. Gravity is no longer a mystery. In principle, a completely new type of energy is possible for humanity. The civilization of the future will be free of hydrocarbons and coal.

From Pixels to Pulp: How AI-Powered Robotics Is Redefining Restorative Dentistry

Qin Long, Omid Panahi

Abstract: Restorative dentistry is undergoing a fundamental transformation driven by the convergence of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotic actuation. This review examines how AI-powered robotics is redefining the entire restorative workflow from digital impression and treatment planning to tooth preparation, crown fabrication, and cementation. We analyze three key domains: (1) AI-driven digital dentistry, where deep learning automates margin detection, crown design, and occlusion analysis from intraoral scans, achieving accuracy comparable to expert technicians in seconds rather than hours; (2) robotic tooth preparation, where autonomous systems perform crown preps, inlays, and onlays with sub 100 µm precision, eliminating human tremor and fatigue; and (3) robotic crown placement, where computer vision and force torque sensing enable precise seating and cementation with real time feedback. We present the current state of robotic systems for restorative dentistry, including the Cerec system (intraoral scanning and chairside milling), the Yomi and Neocis platforms (implant focused, with restorative applications emerging), and research prototypes for autonomous crown preparation. While robotic preparation has been demonstrated in ex vivo studies, clinical translation remains limited by regulatory approval, cost, and the inherent complexity of restorative procedures (which require handling soft tissue, hemostasis, and unpredictable patient anatomy). We conclude that AI-powered robotics will initially augment, rather than replace, the restorative dentist handling preparation and fabrication while the clinician manages treatment planning, patient communication, and quality assurance. The transition from pixels (digital scans) to pulp (vital tissue) represents the next frontier in restorative dentistry.

Robotic Precision, AI Intelligence: The Future of Autonomous Dental Surgery

Qin Long, Omid Panahi

Abstract: Dental surgery is undergoing a paradigm shift from manual, freehand techniques toward robotic-assisted and ultimately autonomous procedures. This review examines the convergence of artificial intelligence, computer vision, haptic feedback, and robotic actuation in dentistry, focusing on the current state of autonomous implant placement, osteotomy preparation, and soft tissue management. We analyze three tiers of autonomy: (1) robotic-assisted (surgeon-in-the-loop), (2) semi-autonomous (supervisory control), and (3) fully autonomous (no human intraoperative decision). Recent advances demonstrate that fully autonomous implant placement from preoperative planning to osteotomy execution and implant seating can achieve sub millimeter accuracy (entry point error <0.15 mm, angular deviation <1.0°) with zero cortical breaches in cadaver studies, exceeding human performed freehand accuracy by 3 5×. Key enabling technologies include: multi modal imaging (CBCT with intraoperative registration), 6 DOF force torque sensing (0.1 N resolution), and deep learning based anatomical segmentation (Dice >0.95). However, significant barriers remain: regulatory approval for autonomous surgical decision making, high capital costs ($350,000–500,000 per system), and surgeon acceptance in an inherently conservative field. We discuss the trajectory from the first fully autonomous implant procedure (2025) to anticipated regulatory clearance (2028–2030), concluding that while full autonomy in complex multi step procedures remains distant, targeted autonomous tasks will become clinically routine within the next decade.
